All of our individual Defined Contribution arrangements are effectively run as one large scheme making management more efficient and cost effective.

Competitive costs

Competitive costs

Most of our members pay approximately 0.5% in charges - well below the Government’s 0.75% charge cap.

Members who invest in Ethical Target Date Funds pay slightly higher fees and charges to cover the costs of investment screening. At approximately 0.73% in charges, however, it is very competitive for ethical investments and below the Government’s charge cap.

Independently assessed

We have committed to complying with the Master Trust Assurance Framework, which means that every year; the DC arrangements are independently assessed against a rigorous set of controls set by ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants) and The Pensions Regulator.

In March 2016 we were awarded the Master Trust Assurance Framework by The Pensions Regulator as a result of demonstrating high quality governance and administration standards. We were re-accredited for the third time under the framework in March 2018.
