TPT Retirement Solutions Bolsters its Investment Capability with Two New Hires

TPT Retirement Solutions, one of the leading workplace pension funds in the UK, has strengthened its investment capability with the appointment of Emmanuel Bocquet and John Steel.

Emmanuel Bocquet has been appointed as Portfolio Strategist and will provide strategic support to TPT’s Chief Investment Officer and Investment Committee. He will be responsible for driving the economic and market outlook for the investment strategy and all the investment exposures in the Trust’s fund. Prior to joining TPT, Emmanuel spent over ten years at Aerion Fund Management, the in-house investment management arm of the National Grid UK Pension Scheme, latterly as head of alternative investments. He has also worked with Credit Lyonnais Securities and ANZ Investment Bank and is a CFA charterholder.

John Steel has been appointed as Investment Operations Manager and will lead the in-house investment team at an operational level, as well as the outsourced support services, to ensure they are aligned to The Pensions Trust’s requirements and industry best practice. John has over 24 years’ experience in managing investment operations for top UK occupational pension schemes, including work with the British Gas Pension Scheme. He was most recently Chief Operating Officer at Aerion Fund Management and is an associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.
