TPT Retirement Solutions has 75 years’ experience and is one of the UK’s leading providers of workplace pensions, recognised for its innovation and high quality service. We provide schemes for some of the UK’s leading organisations, including building societies, housing associations and well-known charities. As we have no shareholders, our priority is to achieve our mission – of making membership worthwhile - for over 2,600 employers and 400,000 members.

As an employer, we believe in finding and investing in the right people so that they can grow with us. Our focus is on helping them to succeed by providing them with the right tools, support and career development opportunities – demonstrated by our long-standing Investors in People Gold accreditation. In turn, our business grows and we can achieve our ambitious goals.

We are looking for an individual to join our department, which encompasses the Employer Relationship Team and the Professional Services Team for a 12 month internship starting between June and September 2022.

This opportunity will give you exposure to working as part of an employer focused service department of twelve, where you will liaise with our pension scheme employers via phone, e-mail and letter, and provide support and assistance on current operational targets. The role will involve working with the team to bring a number of projects to completion, including those related to pension scheme funding, year-end accounting and communications strategy. You will also assist team members with routine employer queries, and will be afforded the opportunity to develop your knowledge of pensions and business.

As you will be regularly liaising with people, you’ll need to demonstrate good communication ability and possess strong customer service skills. You’ll be able and willing to follow working procedures, can effectively use your own initiative, and demonstrate a high level of accuracy. Ideally, you will also have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

A structured development & training plan will be produced to ensure that you are able to succeed in your internship and meet your objectives.

We can also offer you an excellent reward package that includes: contributory pension, life assurance, 24 days of annual leave + bank holidays.

We are located in modern city centre offices which are close to the rail station and parking facilities. Our team are currently hybrid working, with three days in the office, although you can work in the office more if you wish.

External: Given the current climate, the closing date for receipt of applications is: Friday 12th August 2022 at 9am - Due to the nature of the role, this position may close earlier than the notified date.

Applications will be shortlisted on receipt.
