Working as part of a team, you will assess and monitor the ability and willingness of sponsoring employers to support their pension scheme obligations. You will be required to meet with our clients, analyse and assess their financial position and prepare written reports and recommendations to inform the Trustee’s strategy.
You will help to shape TPT’s covenant assessment and monitoring approach, ensuring that it remains effective and proportionate. You will also be required to attend Trustee, Scheme and Employer Committee meetings and deputise for the Senior Covenant Manager from time to time.
You will be a qualified accountant with 2-4 years PQE; you will be experienced in preparing reports for a variety of audiences in professional practice, ideally in the areas of pensions covenant assessment and/or independent business review.
You will need to demonstrate good communication ability at all levels and possess strong stakeholder management skills. You must also be able to use your own initiative, demonstrate a high level of accuracy and effectively manage your own time.
The salary for this position is competitive and will be dependent on experience. It’s a 35 hours working week and we can also offer you an excellent reward package that includes: contributory pension, life assurance, 26 days annual leave + bank holidays.
