A role has arisen in our Employer Relationships team for a proactive pensions project manager, whose primary focus will be managing transfer activity between our schemes. You will lead the employer throughout the transfer process, and take on relationship management for the new scheme once the transfer has completed. The role also involves maintenance and delivery of employer presentation material and stakeholder reporting.

This is not a specialist technical pension installation role, however you will need pensions project management experience, ideally including experience of working on bulk transfer projects and bringing together different disciplinary teams. Experience of tender situations would be desirable.

You will have a good working knowledge of pension scheme management, including knowledge of investment strategy and actuarial principles, and be willing to pursue PMI or equivalent qualifications, if you are not doing so already.

We are looking for an individual who enjoys client interaction and has the skills to build a successful client relationship. You will need to communicate and present effectively to both external and internal stakeholders.  Attention to detail, working using your own initiative and an ability to prioritise your work is important, as you will be required to manage all aspects of your projects throughout the transfer process. You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and ideally Prince2 project planner or equivalent.

The salary range for this position is competitive and will be dependent on experience (35 hours/week). We can also offer you an excellent reward package that includes: contributory pension, life assurance, 26 days of annual leave + bank holidays.
