We provide schemes for over 2,600 organisations, including building societies, housing associations and well-known charities. As we have no shareholders, our priority is to achieve our mission – of making membership worthwhile - for our 400,000 members.
As an employer, we believe in finding and investing in the right people so that they can grow with us. Our focus is on helping them to succeed by providing them with the right tools, support and career development opportunities – demonstrated by our long-standing Investors in People Gold accreditation. In turn, our business grows and we can achieve our ambitious goals.
A role has arisen in our Professional Services team for a proactive pensions project manager, whose primary focus will be the development and delivery of high quality services to sponsoring employers and members. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of corporate projects with support from the in-house actuarial team. You will work closely with the Employer Relationships Team, supporting them in strategic pensions conversations with employers including DB pensions journey planning. The role also involves maintenance and delivery of employer presentation material and stakeholder reporting.
It will be essential to have experience of working on in-house occupational pensions schemes or a pensions consulting background. Whilst you will be supported by the in-house actuarial team, knowledge of DB pension scheme calculation principles will also be preferred to help with strategic planning. The ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to a high standard will also be essential.
We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, has the desire to improve continually and has the ability to embrace change. You will need to communicate and present effectively to both external and internal stakeholders. Attention to detail, working using your own initiative and an ability to prioritise your work is important, as you will be required to manage all aspects of your projects as well as coordinating delivery across teams within TPT. You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
This is an exciting, varied role which is vital for the continued success of TPT.
The salary range for this position is competitive and will be dependent on experience. We can also offer you an excellent reward package that includes: performance related bonus, contributory pension, life assurance, 26 days of annual leave + bank holidays, private medical insurance or gym membership contribution.
We are located in Leeds in modern city centre offices which are close to the rail station and parking facilities.
The closing date for receipt of applications is: Friday 10th December 2021 at 9am - Due to the nature of the role, this position may close earlier than the notified date.
Applications will be shortlisted on receipt.
Strictly no agencies please.
