An opportunity has arisen for a Project Accountant to join our Finance Team for a 6 month fixed term contract. You will be responsible for managing a process to update the ledger structure in TPT’s accounting system, Dream. Working with various people within the Finance team as well as other interested parties, you will take ownership of the project from start to finish to ensure the desired outcome is achieved and that the impact on other departments is fully considered. You will be responsible for the continued testing of all proposed changes, as well as implementing those changes into the main accounting system once agreed. The role will also require ad hoc support of other Finance projects and ongoing activities.

Previous financial accounting and project management experience is essential. Good knowledge of accounting systems is a must, with any previous system change experience desirable.

To be considered for this role you will be a qualified (or equivalent) accountant with the ability to use your own initiative and demonstrate effective communication skills in order to understand the wider impact of the system change on other business areas.

The salary range for this position is competitive and will be dependent on experience (35 hours/week). We can also offer you an excellent reward package that includes: contributory pension, life assurance, 24 days of annual leave + bank holidays. 

We are located in modern city centre offices which are close to the rail station and parking facilities.
