Working as part of the Investment Management Team (IMT), you will lead our Responsible Investment (RI) activities. Working with other members of the IMT, the Investment Committee, investment managers and investment consultant you will develop and implement RI policies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and driving best practice across the business. This will include the integration of RI considerations into all areas of the portfolio management process, including investment strategy, manager appointment and oversight. 

You will also be responsible for supporting discussion with regulatory bodies, and leading engagements with portfolio companies. You will lead on the delivery of all RI related reporting, promoting transparency with our members and key membership bodies. 

As you will be regularly presenting to internal and external customers, as well as engaging with key bodies to drive change you’ll need to demonstrate excellent communication skills.  A strong understanding the key asset classes used by pension schemes and the current regulatory landscape are essential, and the practical experience implementing RI practices is preferred. 

The salary range for this position is competitive and will be dependent on experience (35 hours/week). We can also offer you an excellent reward package that includes: contributory pension, life assurance, 26 days of annual leave + bank holidays.
