Coventry Building Society, the UK’s second largest building society, transferred its £220m DB scheme, which has c.1,800 members including more than 600 pensioners, to TPT Retirement Solutions’ DB Master Trust.

Medicash, one of the UK’s oldest and largest healthcare cash plan providers, transferred its £20m DB scheme, which has c.174 members, to TPT Retirement Solutions' DB Master Trust.

Family Building Society has transferred its £30m DB scheme, which has 250 members, to TPT's DB Master Trust. As the UK’s largest single office building society, with origins dating back to 1896, the Society has assets of £2.3bn. Its move is another example of the increasing momentum towards DB consolidation through DB Master Trusts and highlights the benefits of consolidation.

Darlington Building Society is an independent regional building society that recently celebrated its 160th anniversary, focusing on serving the local community. The Society has a defined benefit (DB) pension scheme, which is closed to the build-up of further benefits. Although closed, the Scheme and its governance are still key for the Society, and it felt there were clear advantages to transferring the Scheme to TPT's DB Complete Master Trust solution.
