TPT announces 250,000th member

TPT Retirement Solutions, one of the leading workplace pension schemes in the UK, has recently enrolled its 250,000
th member. Miss Lorna Johnson, Head of Boarding House and Parent at The Park School is a member of The Independent Schools’ Pension Scheme Defined Contribution section and was presented with a gift from TPT to mark the occasion.

Mike Ramsey Chief Executive of TPT said: “I am delighted to welcome Lorna as the 250,000th member of TPT. This is a significant milestone for the Trust and is testament to the Trust’s ability to provide a range of workplace pensions to suit all circumstances. We are committed to helping people like Lorna to save for their retirement and providing a first rate service to our employers and members.”

Lorna’s employer, The Park School, is an independent school which has been at the heart of Yeovil for over 160 years. It has developed over that time to become an ‘all-through’ school for boys and girls aged 3 – 18 offering a unique education based on ‘Trust, Respect and Friendship’.

The Independent Schools’ Pension Scheme was established in 1996 and is provided by TPT. It is the leading pension scheme for support staff in the independent schools’ sector and serves more than 4,300 members and over 50 independent schools.

Celebrating its 70th year, TPT is one of the largest occupational pension schemes in the UK with c. £8 billion assets under management. Managing 39 segregated schemes and serving 250,000 members and 2,400 employers across all sectors.
