TPT Retirement Solutions named 'Outstanding Organisation' by TPAS

TPT Retirement Solutions, one of the leading workplace pension schemes in the UK, has been awarded 'Outstanding Organisation 2017' by The Pensions Advisory Service (TPAS).
TPT Retirement Solutions (TPT) was presented with the award in support of its staff who participate in the TPAS volunteer programme. TPAS has a national network of volunteer advisers that help the public with pension problems, providing information and guidance and dispute resolution services. Volunteer advisers give their time and expertise for free.
TPT supports the TPAS programme by encouraging its staff to become advisers and assisting them to balance their volunteer duties with their professional role. It also supports TPAS by hosting its adviser workshops in the Leeds head office.
TPAS recognises volunteers for their help and commitment to the programme, as well as the benefit they provide to the public. This year it also recognised the employers that encourage and support staff to become TPAS volunteers at a special reception at the House of Lords. Glenn Austen, Trustee Services Manager at TPT, went along to accept the award on behalf of the organisation.
Simon Hart, Trustee Services Delivery Manager, said: "The pensions landscape has changed dramatically in recent years and consumers are more reliant on services such as TPAS to help them make informed decisions. Volunteer advisers have an important role to play and I am really proud of Glenn and our staff who give their own time to help the public in this way. I am absolutely delighted that TPAS has recognised their efforts with this award and the vital work they do."
